Meet the Team
Matthew Hoffman
President/CEO
Matthew Hoffman is the current owner/president of Old Meeting House Ice Cream. Matthew took over the business from the original owner, Jim Strickland, over a decade ago.
With a Master's Degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management from Cornell University, and over 20 years experience as owner and managing partner of many local establishments, Matthew is also an accomplished chef.
Overseeing all aspects of Old Meeting House Ice Cream production, Matthew makes sure it continues to be the best-tasting, highest-quality, all natural handmade ice cream you can buy.

Darryl David
Director of Operations/Controller
As the Controller and Operations Manager, Darryl David is responsible for the wholesale and retail operations of Old Meeting House Ice Cream. In addition to setting the strategic direction and successful execution of operating plans for the business, Mr. David also focuses on creating a high performance organization.
Mr. David joined Old Meeting House in May 2006 and brings to the company over 20 years of experience in the dairy and packaged food industries. He held executive positions at two super premium ice cream companies including Darryl’s Homemade Ice Cream in the Midwest and Annabelle’s Ice Cream, Inc. in New England. During his tenure as Director of Purchasing at West Lynn Creamery in Boston, Massachusetts, Darryl was responsible for managing over $70 million in raw material and commodity contracts. His flavor creations have been recognized in the book “The Very Best Ice Cream and Where to Find It.”.

Steve Reiske
Business/H.R. Manager
Steve was raised in the upper Midwest but has really been a 'resident of the world' who moved to the Tampa area in 2003. After a successful career in the non-profit sector, Steve took a position as the Executive Assistant to the Hoffman Family, owners of Old Meeting House Ice Cream. After a few months in that position, Matthew Hoffman asked Steve to add the role of Old Meeting House Human Resources Manager to his job description. With a strong background in administration, Steve utilizes his organizational and creative skills to help Old Meeting House bring its all-natural, super premium ice cream to more and more satisfied customers.

Jodi Stanely
Concept Development Director
Jodi was born in Sandwich, Illinois and moved to Florida at age 11. After college Jodi spent 13 years living in beautiful Seattle, Washington. There she worked for Albertsons and a small company called Summit Trading Company where she managed the café and developed new product lines for the café. In 2000 Jodi moved back to Florida with her 3 children to be closer to her folks. Here she spent the next 6 years working for Starbucks Coffee Company where she fell in love with the culture of coffee. Jodi is now the Concept Development Manager for The Junction. Jodi lives in Spring Hill with her children; Cody, Christopher and Meagan and their numerous pets.

Doug Husenitza
Director of Production
Doug was born and raised in New Jersey and attended The Restaurant School in Philadelphia. After receiving his degree, Doug worked in some of the finest French restaurants in the area. Following the sun as many Northerners do Doug ended up here in Florida where he worked with Matthew Hoffman at the Tuscan Oven for 4 years. After the birth of his daughter Hannah, Doug wanted to work better hours. Finally Matthew convinced Doug to come to work at OMH. Recently Doug attended the Tharpe and Young Ice Cream School to further his education. Doug along with his wife Colette and daughter Hannah live in St. Pete with their two dogs.

Lisa Burinskas
Production Manager
Lisa was born and raised in the small town of Winsted, CT. While attending Central Connecticut State University for her Bachelor degree in Arts & Sciences (English); she broke in to the coffee/ice cream world while working as the Assistant Manager of the local Whole Donut Coffee Shop. After graduation, she moved on to managing her local Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robins. After nearly two years she moved to Florida where she continued to manage another Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robins in Spring Hill and then another in New Port Richey. She currently resides in Brooksville with her fiancé Thomas and their 3 dogs Cody, Samantha and Mary Jane.

Michelle Rockwood
Production Systems Administrator
Michelle was born in Tampa, FL. After graduating from Brandon High School, Michelle went directly into the working world employed in merchandising for Busch Gardens theme park. After a 2 year stint working as the Service Cashier for a large Brandon dealership; Michelle married, moved to Clearwater and helped run a Gloria Jean’s franchise for over 4 years. Two years after the birth of her son Cole; Michelle moved back to Tampa to work for an infrastructure support company and first began work in the computer technical world. She spent two years as a Systems Administrator for a small company and helped develop their proprietary software system. Michelle has been with Old Meeting House since 2005.She has gone from part-time receptionist to executive assistant, to the A/R and Office Manager. She now enjoys assisting Doug Husenitza and the rest of Production as their Administrator. Michelle resides in South Tampa with her son Cole, fiancé Jeff and their dog and 2 cats.

Evony Crawford
Production Systems Administrator
Evony was born and raised here in sunny Florida. She graduated with honors from Santa Fe Community College in May, 2005. While attending SFCC she worked for a family business which provided accounting services for small businesses and non-profits. Evony was in charge of bookkeeping, A/P & A/R, payroll & desktop publishing. She is currently attending the University of Tampa to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration, with two minors in Finance and Management. She hopes to graduate in the fall of 2008.

Virginia Walker
Director of Sales & Marketing
As with 90% of Floridians, Virginia is a transplant. She was born and raised in Texan and lived in Connecticut for 4 years. The gloomy northeastern winters and her desire to sail more than 5 months of the year sent her packing to Florida. She sails competitively and is the Treasurer of one of the local sailing associations. Her sales experience includes jobs at Frito Lay, Dun & Bradstreet, Tech Data, and several other large area employers. The immediate family consists of 2 rabbits, a bonded pair that roams freely around in her home in Dunedin.
At OMH, Virginia directs the sales team in their efforts to spread the Old Meeting House passion for ice cream to business partners around the globe.

Fred Pascarella
Sales Manager
Fred was born in Schenectady, New York. After attending Schenectady County Community College Fred sought higher ground and for the next 10 years he played Semi-Pro & Professional baseball. He was a catcher. Baseball naturally took Fred all over the US. He came back to NY where he worked for Hershey Foods for 7 years. After Hershey’s, Fred worked for Perry’s Ice Cream, which is a small ice cream company in NY that could be akin to Old Meeting House. Owned by one local family, Fred found comfort in working for a small company. After 8 years with Perry’s Fred spent two years at Dean Foods. He found his love in the sun and moved to Florida two years ago. He worked for Tire Kingdom as the fleet manager for a year then came back to ice cream working at Edy’s for a year. Fred wanted the same environment as he had at Perry’s and was eventually drawn in by Old Meeting House Ice Cream. Fred has been with OMH for six months and lives with his wife Dawn and their three children; Fred Jr, Frank & Kristi in Wesley Chapel.

Tisa Neuger
Sales Support / Marketing Coordinator
Born in the tiny country of Malawi, "The Warm Heart of Africa," Tisa came to America at age 2 and was raised in the hills of North Carolina. Moving to Tampa in 1996, she finished high school, an All County soccer player, and went on to obtain an AA degree at Hillsborough Community College, working her way through school as a promotions coordinator at Clear Channel Radio. Managing key components of client and community events honed her interpersonal and customer relations skills as well as giving her experience executing effective media promotions. Jumping right into the work world, she held a series of customer service positions, including two years at EVOS a healthy fast food restaurant and a stint in accounting for a leading homebuilder. In October, 2006, Tisa married Tony Neuger, a research scientist at Moffitt Cancer Center. Avid soccer and hockey fans (and ice cream lovers!), Tisa and Tony enjoy the company of their three dogs while obsessing over home and yard improvements.

John Justice
Business Development Executive
John grew up in beautiful sunny Southern California. Following high school he joined the Air Force, after his discharge he returned to So. California and attended Fullerton College. While in school John began his food career by joining Jeno’s Frozen Pizza’s and Snacks as a Region Manager. He was transferred to the Detroit area where he met his wife Vickie. After several moves John was transferred to the Orlando, FL home office as Director of National Accounts, Food Service and Private Label. When Jeno’s was sold to Pillsbury in 1984 John accepted a position with Chiquita Brands to introduce their new line of juices and ice cream products. Shortly after the roll-out he was promoted to Division Sales Vice President managing half the US. After 3 years Jeno called and said he was starting a new project and John accepted a position of Vice President of Sales. When that company was sold he hooked up with co-workers from Jeno’s and they worked with Friendly’s Ice Cream on their introduction into the supermarket business. After a number of transfers John wanted to come back to Florida, as did Vickie, and look for an opportunity in an entrepreneurial environment. Fortunately he met the management with Old Meeting House Ice Cream and has a chance to grow with another great company.

Todd Farnham
Division Manager
Todd was born and raised in Vermont and attended the Hotel and Restaurant Management college of Paul Smith’s in New York. During his freshman year Todd was selected to attend the Disney World Magic Kingdom College Intern Program and vowed to return someday to Florida. After receiving his degree, Todd worked many years in management in the automobile industry before keeping that promise and returning to Florida working as a Citrus County Sheriff’s Deputy. In 2006 Todd decided to market his Southern Fried Ice Cream dessert and found the market receptive as sales were increasing. In 2007 Todd convinced Matthew Hoffman to look at Southern Fried Ice Cream as a division of Old Meeting House Ice Cream and now the future is bright. Todd lives in Citrus County with his wife Stacy, daughters Hannah, Lauren, Sarah, their Dog Chap and Rabbit Oreo.
